Jeff Prosise

AJAX, or Asynchronous JavaScript and XML, is an ingredient in nearly all successful Web applications. It allows browser clients to make lightweight, asynchronous HTTP callbacks to Web servers without refreshing the page. This session introduces jQuery’s AJAX utility methods and utilities and demonstrates how to use them to build Web applications that are more efficient on the wire, more responsive to the user, and more maintainable.
